Tracy
J. Andrews
Associate with the firm, Tracy "TJ" Andrews specializes in environmental
and land use law. TJ received a Bachelor of Arts in History from
Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, where she graduated magna
cum laude. TJ worked in environmental education for several years
before attending the University of Texas School of Law. She was
editor-in-chief of the Texas Environmental Law Journal. She graduated
with honors and was a recipient of the UT Public Interest Law Award.
She is a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary society recognizing
outstanding academic achievement in the study of law.
Before joining Olson, Bzdok, and Howard, TJ worked as an Assistant
Attorney General in the Natural Resources Division of the Texas
Office of the Attorney General.
TJ is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the State Bar of Texas,
the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association (GTLA-BA), the
Women Lawyers' Association of the GTLA-BA, the Texas Young Lawyers
Association (TYLA), the Texas Environmental and Natural Resources
Law Section of the Texas Bar, and the American Bar Association.
She was recently awarded the TYLA President's Award of Merit, for
service to the bar. TJ is also on the Board of Directors for the
Watershed Center.
TJ has also co-authored and co-edited a booklet entitled "Helping
Low-Income Communities Across Texas Access Safe and Affordable Water
and Wastewater Services" (2003, Texas Young Lawyers Association).
