Scott W. Howard
Principal with the firm, Scott specializes in brownfield redevelopment,
environmental litigation, municipal law, real estate transactions,
land use, and appellate work.
Scott is a graduate of the James Madison College at Michigan State
University, and a cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law
School. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary
society recognizing outstanding academic achievement in the study
of law.
Before joining Olson, Bzdok & Howard, Scott spent two years
clerking for the Honorable Michael F. Cavanagh, Justice of the Michigan
Supreme Court.
Scott is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Environmental
Law Section, the Real Property Section, and the Appellate Law Section.
He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Grand
Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association.
He has published in the areas of brownfield redevelopment and international
law.
