The City of Mackinac Island's Line 5 Legal Challenge Gaining Media Coverage

The legal challenge to Enbridge's Line 5 on behalf of the City of Mackinac Island, the Straits of Mackinac Alliance and Grand Traverse Band of Chippewa and Ottawa Indians has been getting further media coverage. Click here to view the article in the Petoskey News.
Since the time of the City's petition to intervene, the Court has granted that request and decided that it will consolidate the two existing contested cases, as well as a forthcoming third contested case (all addressing the installation of additional anchor supports), into a single proceeding. The City of Mackinaw Island will be a party of all three.
